Christmas 2012

This year for Christmas we decided to stay home. I didn't sleep for two days because I was so excited for the kids to open their presents. We had a wonderful Christmas and the kids were very spoiled.

The kids in their Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve.

All ready for Christmas morning. I was so excited I could hardly stand it!

Brock loved ripping the paper and eating it. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Tanner and Neena and Papa for the presents. The kids love them.

Trucks and a remote, what more could a boy need.

Chris surprised me with a new ipod touch!
When Addy opened this present, she cried its a stroller! She was so excited!

As you can see we had a wonderful Christmas and are very grateful and thankful for this time of year.

I am a Robot (to be said in a robot voice)

The other day I had left an empty diaper box downstairs and Addy decided that she would become a robot. She put the box over her head to where she could see out of the handle hole and walked around saying I am a robot and was counting. It was so cute and hilarious! I wish I would have got some video of it but here are some pictures.

Look at those eyes peeking out.

Potty Training

This is the only picture I have of Addy while she was potty training. We started the week after Thanksgiving and she has done very well since. She is so proud of herself everytime she goes and she yells "I did it" when she is done. She is growing up so fast and we can't believe how smart she is.

Brock 7 Months

I finally got a picture of Brock smiling.
Brock is now 7 months. He is such a happy little boy and brings so much joy to our family. He has started rolling from belly to back and can sit up on his own for teh most part. He isd blabbering all the time and he LOVES his sister. His favorite things right now are mom's hair, his blanket, his sister and trying to eat anything in sight. He even gets upset when we eat in front of him. We are definitely enjoying this spunky red head.

Presents from Aunt Acacia

Acacia made these cute taggie toys for Brock and also included a cute headband and necklace for Addy. Addy puts on the necklace and says its my princess necklace. Thanks Aunt Acacia.

Brock 6 Months

Our little man is six months old. I can't believe it! Time moves so much faster on your second child. Here are his stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 2 oz-77%
Height: 28 1/2 inches-97%
Head: 44 1/2 cm-75%

Needless to say he is a big boy. He has starting sitting up on his own and just starting rolling from his belly to his back. Over the past couple of weeks he has started becoming very vocal. He is getting really loud. Addy and Brock will scream back and forth between each other. He is now eating vegetables and oatmeal. He isn't a fan of rice cereal. We will be starting fruits within the next month.

Happy Halloween

The pumpkins we carved. We haven't carved pumpkins since we were dating.
 Addy the princess.
Addy the princess and Brock the dragon. After we went to the circus anytime Addy heard the word dragon she would run around screaming "Ahhhh a dragon scary". I was hoping she would keep it up but she stopped doing it.
Brock kept trying to eat her dress.

 Look at my chunky baby.
Chris' old facility talked him into dressing up drag for their Halloween party. When I first walked in I didn't even recognize him. Addy was scared of him and cried the whole time cuz she wanted to see her daddy. Brock didn't seem to mind him though.

Brock is getting so big and has become quite the little screamer. The kids love to scream at each other. Whenever Brock sees Chris or Addyson he does his "quiet scream" as we call it. He tries to scream but nothing comes out but a whisper. He still hasn't rolled over yet. He will get up on his side and stop. He loves to kick his legs when you lay him down. Chris calls it stomping. He even does it in his sleep. It took a while for him to eat cereal. He finally did a couple of weeks ago. Now he will eat it for about two minutes and then be done cuz he gets lazy and just wants a bottle. We love this little boy and so glad that we have him in our family.
