Birthday Photo Shoot

I decided to have some pictures taken to update the ones in Chris' office and to capture Addy how she is at 3. These are some of my favorites and the good ones from the shoot.

Now onto the outtakes...... I had no idea that she was making these faces during the photo shoot.

Thank you Aunt Jenny for teaching Addy how to stick her tongue out for pictures.

Happy Birthday Addyson!

The day before Addy's birthday we met Chris for lunch to have a lunch birthday. Brock really wanted this corn on the cob. I had to pry it from his hands so we could leave.

I love how she looks in this photo. So grown up.

Addy got some birthday money so I took her shopping and this is what she picked out. She came out with quite a haul.

Addy's friends that came over to celebrate....From left to right-Kayson, Atlee, and Kaylee.
She got a bunch of stickers and decided to cover her legs in them. Thanks Janelle for the awesome Hello Kitty piggy bank. She loves it.

Brock's eye surgery

Brock's tear ducts have been clogged since he was about a week old. His right eye unclogged on its own but his left eye never did. When I took him in for his 15 month well check the doctor told me it was time to see a specialist to have it taken care of. We went to the specialist and they told us we had two options (1) to strap him down and have them try to do it in the office while he is awake and thrashing (which only has a 70% success rate). Or (2) go under anesthesia and have them do it that way. We obviously decided to go with the surgery. He was under for about 5 minutes and the surgery went well.

We can't tell you how nice it is to finally see his eyelashes ungooped and his eye not to be red. In about 6 months we will have a follow up and they will pull the stent out that they put in. So glad it is over with.

Backstreet Boys

This trip to Vegas was definitely an EPIC one. I had such a great time with my sister and her friend Miranda. Luckily we all got along really well.

 Road trips are so fun.
Miranda posing with her future husbands. (j/k). She really wanted to get a picture with one of them but we missed seeing them outside of their show.
As we were heading over to Mandalay Bay to have dinner before the concert, who happens to be walking right in front of us but Brian Littrell from BSB! I about had a heart attack. We followed him for a good 10 minutes before Miranda finally had the guts to go up and talk to him. He didn't have time for pictures but he did stop and say hi to us and we got to shake his hand and meet his wife and son.
Here we are all ready and waiting for the concert to start.

Brian and his cute son Bailey. He sang two songs for us. He was so awesome.

As you can see we had awesome seats at the concert. It was so fun and we had a really great time.
Then it was off to the after party. It was kinda lame. Clubs aren't really my scene, but it was fun to be that close to the guys.

During the last song before the guys had to leave Howie started pulling girls up one by one for pictures. There was one girl in front of us and he left. This is how close we ended being. So much fun.
