Our Gibbering Girl

This is what we hear from Addyson from the moment she wakes up until she goes to sleep. She is such talker. (I am pretty sure she gets that from me unfortunately) But we love hearing her talk even when she is really loud.

Vail Village

On our way home we stopped in Vail Village to walk around. It was really weird because the season had just ended so not all of the shops were open and nobody was around. So we basically had the whole village to ourselves.

This was the view of the mountains that we had on our way home. Driving on I-70 is beautiful but it is a little bit too curvy for me.

Beaver Creek

This year the Colorado Healthcare Association Conference was in Beaver Creek. It is this resort town up in the mountains by Vail, Colorado. It was beautiful and a lot of fun.
Addyson hanging out on the bed.
The other part of our suite. It was nice I could put Addyson down for a nap and close the door and go into the other part of our room.
 Feeling the furry blanket.
Cheesy smiles.
We are standing right inside the entrance to Beaver Creek Village.
 The Post Montaine.

There was a river that ran right through the village. It was so nice to sleep with the door open and hear the river roaring.

She was fascinated by the river I had to keep poking her to get her to look at the camera.
Chris got this nurse barbie doll at the convention. Addyson is too little for it right now but she was poking at the glasses.

Playing on the floor in our room.

Hanging out with Chris.

The Best steak ever. It was AMAZING!!
This is the lobby of our hotel. They had statues climbing up the walls. It was really cool.
I noticed this sign when we were coming back from dinner one night. Its says "Due to recent bear activity the automatic doors will be locked every evening at 7:00. We didn't see any bears luckily but it was still kinda scary.

Tickling Fun

The other night Chris was playing with Addyson and her got her giggling so much that I had to take a video of it.

8 Months

Addyson is 8 months old today! She is getting so fun. My mom and dad got her a walker for Easter and she loves it. She has starting pushing herself backwards in it. She is starting to lean forward on her hands while she is sitting so I think she will be crawling soon.
This is the best picture I could get of her teeth. The first one broke through when she was 6 1/2 months old and the second one came through about a week ago. She has been such a great teether. She doesn't get a fever or cranky, they just break through.

Our Anniversary

Chris and I have been married for four years! Over the past few years on our anniversary we have gone to the melting pot. This year for our anniversary we didn't do very much. We will be going to Beaver Creek at the end of the month so we are going to celebrate our anniversary then. When I got up this is what I found on the table.....
All of my favorite things. Chips and queso, captain crunch, peanut m&ms, sour patch watermelons and an itunes gift card.

Summer is upon us

Yesterday it was 80 degrees here in Denver so I pulled out Addyson's summer clothes. Too bad we had to spend most of the day waiting at the DMV to register Chris' car but it was still nice to be in some warm weather.
I love those little chunky legs!

Playing Around

Addyson loves playing in the morning after she gets up. I just pile lots of toys around here and she is entertained for a while.

Oh how she loves that monkey.

Chris is tickling her back with his face.

Addy trying to grab the camera from Chris.
 And trying again.

She is laughing not crying. So funny.

Rolling

Addyson has finally mastered the art of rolling over from her belly to her back. Here is a short video of that. She was pretty tired when I took the video hence the crying and spitting.
