My Birthday

For the past couple of years we have gone to Cheesecake Factory for my birthday. I always order the same thing and its super delicious! This year we had that same plan. I had found a sitter for our kids and was super excited to go out that night without the kids. Well around 10 that morning I get an unsuspecting text from Chris, "Survey just walked in the building". Are you kidding me? They couldn't pick another day to come. So we almost didn't get to go to dinner but Chris made it home in time and we had a wonderful night.

Brock also turned 8 months on my birthday. Ahhh where has the time gone? He needs to slow down a little bit.

Surprise to trip to Utah

Back in November I decided the me and the kids would fly to Utah to surprise my mom for her birthday. Well we weren't very good at keeping the secret because she found out. But she kept the secret until we got there. I didn't take very many pictures but here are some that I do have.

Making each other laugh

The kids really do love each other. Brock lights up when he hears/sees his sister and Addy gets really excited when he wakes up from his naps. This just shows how much fun they have together.

 Aunt Liz sent the kids some of the punch balloons, as you can see from this picture, Brock was not impressed and was afraid of them for a while. Anytime one would come near him he would start fussing and try grabbing anyone closet to him.

 Look at that red hair and those blue eyes. He is so handsome!

I had to get a picture of Brock sleeping. Now that he can roll he ends up the craziest positions in his crib.

Visit from DJ and Bryant

The day after Christmas, DJ and Bryant drove up for a visit. The boys had lots of fun playing video games and eating good food.

 Poor Addy did not feel well. We didn't know it at the time but she was getting more molars.

 We went to dinner at Hacienda. Yummy! Addy was so tired she fell asleep, which never happens. Thats when we knew she really didn't feel well.

 Catherine got our kids these sweet sock monkey hats! Unfortunately Addy wouldn't let me put hers on for a picture.

 We had some fun playing monopoly. If I remember right Chris won, which usually happens.

We also had some fun playing Dance Central on the kinect. The boys were good sports about Jenny posting it on the internet.

We had a really good time with DJ and Bry and were really glad that they could come visit.
