Murder in Sin City mystery party

We got invited to a murder mystery party and we all got roles to play. Throughout the night we were given clues and tasks full of scandalous details that we could only divulge to certain people. By the end of the night we had to figure out who the murderer was. I was Colleen Candy a classy call girl and Chris was Senator Justice, the senator of Nevada. It was really fun and we had a great time. Here are some pictures from that
night.

Security Sam (Chelsey) the Security manager and Jacqueline Justice, the Senators wife (Carrie) at dinner during the party.

Elvis (Dave) hanging out on the couch after dinner.

Jim the bartender and Callie Conway the booking manager.

Elvis and Lucy Legs doing a show for us after dinner.

Ronald Trump looking fabulous. He was the casino owner. I think he looked awesome.

Ace High showing off his assets.

Me and Carrie after the party when we liked each other again.

Lucy Legs striking a pose. She made this costume as well as Elvis'. So creative.

Me and Chelsey taking pictures after the party.

Penny and Jeff looking good.

Me and Chris after the party. The Senator and I end up together in the end. He left his wife for me.

Another one of me.

Paul and JoAnn's visit

Chris' parents came down to Tucson for a quick visit the first weekend of October. It was really nice to see them and I think Chris had a great time while they were here. Unfortuneately since I am a fairly new employee at my job I don't have a lot of PTO saved up yet so I could not take off any time from work. But Chris had a great time. These pictures are from the Desert Museum. We finally got to get some up close photos of the javelina. They looked so cute sleeping but I am sure that they are not that cute in person.

Tombstone

Here are some of the pictures of Tombstone. It was really neat. You walk down the main road of Tombstone and it is like walking back in time. The people that live in Tombstone dress up and hang out on the main street all day. They have gun fights and old horse drawn buggies that will take you around town. Its a sight to see or as they say its "The city that never wants to die."
This is the old Boothill Graveyard they have as you enter into Tombstone. It is where some of the old westerners are buried. It was really cool to see. It wasn't creepy though, just cool.

Joe's Crab Shack Round 2

While Oma and Opa were here they asked if we could go to Joe's Crab Shack so we went and got our hands all messy and dug into the steam pots. Oma and Chris each got a steam pot and Opa and I got Fish and Chips and we just passed around the food. It was good company, good food, and good atmosphere. We love Joe's!

The Boneyard

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base has a boneyard where over 4000 airplane shells are lined up in rows by type for mile after mile. Here is an aerial photograph. Normally all we could see were the very outside row of one side but since Oma and Opa have access to base we got to go on and see more that what we thought was there.

Dogs New Home

The weekend of Labor Day Chris built a little kennel for the dogs on one side of our yard. That is too keep them from eating the sprinklers and digging holes in the grass.
The area of the yard that we fenced off doesn't get much shade so this is the shade that Chris built for them. He just set their crates side by side and used one of the boxes from our garden and made a roof out of it and then just attached a heavy duty tarp over the top. At least they have a place to lay down that is not on the gravel and some shade.
This is Jake is the pool that we got them. This is about all that he does in it besides drink the water. But at least he uses it. Lucy won't go anywhere near it.
