Christmas

December was a bit hectic for us with survey and a new job promotion for Brittany. Brittany felt bad that we hadn't baked anything so she baked some cookies with Addy on Christmas Eve and had her decorate them for Santa. Brock even got in on the fun. More frosting went into his mouth than on the cookies but that's ok.

Brittany tried getting a picture of the kids and this is the best she got.

All ready for Christmas morning. Brittany was so excited she could hardly sleep.

Let us out, let us out.

Brock would open a present and go back to the truck. Then open another present and go back to the truck. Needless to say he loves the truck and he doesn't like to share it with anyone.

Addy checking out what is in her stocking.

 Our cute little darth vadar.

We had a wonderful Christmas. We had dinner with some of our friends. Its interesting how your friends become your family when you are away from your family. We are so grateful for them and for all the help they have given us over this last month of craziness. Uncle DJ came for a visit that night and the kids had lots of fun with him. We were sad to see him go but glad that he got to come visit.

Thanksgiving

We flew to Utah over Thanksgiving. It was lots of family fun time. Luckily we have really good happy fliers.

Of course we had to stop at In-N-Out Burger since we don't have one in Colorado.

These three had lots of fun getting into trouble and making messes.

 The beautiful turkey Paul made.

The little kid table.
Brock enjoying his thanksgiving dinner.
Addy and Baylee really bonded over this trip. The last time they were together they didn't get along very well so it was nice to see them playing well together.

Eating some treats with Grandma.

And what is Thanksgiving without a big family photo. I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I planned too. We were having too much fun.

Fun Times and a Broken Elbow

Our friend Lesha asked us to get a year pass with her to Wildlife Experience. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals. It had snowed the night before and it was soo cold so it was nice to get out of the house and do something that the kids enjoyed.

Later that day while I was at work, Addy fell off of a chair at Lesha's house and fractured her elbow. This is her attire as we were leaving the ER. They have a special pediatric ER and many volunteers donate wonderful stuff. They gave her the hat and the awesome tutu. She was such a trooper and was so brave.
While we were in Utah we took her down to Primary Children's to have her hard cast put on. Her cousin Cody was the first one to sign it. It is now covered in signatures.
